I'm going to be doing something a little bit different today but I hope you like it.
Recently, I've been trying to get a little bit more healthier as I've joined the gym and am going on runs more often I decided that I should eat healthier to work along side the exercise so I've decided to share with you what a regularly take to school to eat at lunch.
You will need: -Tortilla wraps -Hummus -Baby leaf lettuce -Diced pepper -Quartered cucumber -Nando's Peri Peri sauce |
I spread a layer of hummus across the whole of the wrap then down the middle I put the lettuce (I prefer baby leaf salad which comes from a bag). Then over the top I sprinkle diced pepper and cucumber. I prefer red or orange pepper, I don't know exactly why but I just find that it tastes nicer than green pepper. On top of everything I then pout Nando's sauce. Today I used the medium peri peri sauce which is quite spicy of you put too much on, like I do all of the time, but I also like the lemon and herb sauce which personally is my favourite. But you can use any salad dressing or sauce you'd like, go with what you prefer! |
