Week In Review #6

Monday, February 23, 2015

1) Made pancakes with my brother 2)Went to Pineapple dance studios!
3 & 4) Saw London tourist attractions
5) Went to M&M world with dance squad 6) New shoes and socks (shh!)
7) My window with new plants 8) made more sushi!

So, this week I have been on half term so I have gotten to relax the whole week! It was pancake day but me and my brother were unorthodox and had pancakes the day before. I then went to London with my dance group and stayed the night in a hotel which felt like I was in a prison; we had to pay £5 to use a towel and we had two between six of us!

I had a lot of fun but it was thoroughly tiring, I also got to see Billy Eliot which is a production on in London, the dancing was brilliant! I am jealous. Today I got another cactus and lucky bamboo, I'm soon going to have a jungle in my room! Also, I made some more sushi today! Yesterday, I went to the charity shop to donate clothes and books and they had loads of vinyls! I got The Sound of Music and West Side Story for 50p each! I'm listening to them now.
What did you do this week?

London February 2015

Sunday, February 22, 2015

The pictures are really bad quality because they were either taken on my phone or in the rain on my camera and at night!

Recently, I went to London with my dance group and it was so fun! As soon as we got in to London we went to Covent Garden but no one bought anything because we were going back the day after. We then went to Pineapple dance studios and did a workshop there, we did Chicago and Hairspray but I'm not a massive fan on musicals so I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. We then went to the hotel which was like a prison; the bunk beds were three stories high, it was dirty, there wasn't very much room and we had to pay £5 for a towel! Luckily, we were only stopping for one night. We then went to Tinsel Town which is an American diner where we ate our dinner before rushing to see Billy Eliot. The dancing was amazing but I'm not a big fan of musicals.

The next day we went to Oxford Street after not having anything for breakfast as none of it looked appetising, so I had a McDonald's. We went in to Newlook where I bought a new pair of shoes, they are black, boots and have a 3 inch thick heel, they're gorgeous! Then went to Topshop where we went in the photo booth, then Urban Outfitter where we went in the photo booth again and I bought so highly priced socks. We went to M&M world which was over priced and smelled disgusting before going to Covent Garden and out of the rain where I bought my third MAC lipstick which I'll probably do a post on. Then went to Bella Italia where I had pizza and a day off of lent so I could have chocolate ice cream and brownies, it was delicious! Because we had ages before we had to catch the train we went and saw big Ben and the London eye all lit up at night.

Week In Review #5

Sunday, February 15, 2015

1) Me and my mum before dance competition 2) Dance squad in the rehearsal room
3) We had pretty mirrors with lights! 4) Looking slightly foreign

Not had the most adventurous or interesting week but I did have a dance competition on Saturday! Luckily, I don't have a valentine so I wasn't able to skip a date! The pictures aren't the best quality as they were all taken on phones but I had a great time!
Did you have a nice week?

My Everyday Make-up

Monday, February 09, 2015

I finally uploaded again! Hoorah!

I'm hoping to make more videos like this or different ones such as look books even though I doubt that's going to happen, oops! It's just I have problems with equipment, quality, people and editing programs! Who else wishes they were rich?

I don't like bothering my friends with my videos or blog (unless they have one) and my parents aren't really involved, they just said yes and let me do what I had to do!

Top 5 Favorite Lipsticks

Friday, February 06, 2015

Please bare in mind half of these lipsticks are purple. I am featuring three but I have a grand total of five purple lipsticks!

My favourite lipstick at the moment is MAC Asian Flower. I fell in love with this lipstick when I saw it on one of Amy Valentine's outfit post, which has got to be well over a year ago now, and decided I needed it. Unfortunately I only was able to get it recently because the nearest place MAC lipsticks are sold is an hour away, so I got it for Christmas from my Nan. I like to wear this lipstick to school because it isn't too bright or out there.

I got this next lipstick November 2014 and it was my first MAC lipstick! It's the lipstick in Violetta and my mum treated me to it when I went shopping with her and I am still head over heels for it. I have worn it to school sometimes and got so many compliments on it! Don't worry that is the last of the MAC lipsticks and I am now down to my drugstore lipsticks!

This next lipstick is one of the Maybelline colour vivids in Neon Red. This is the perfect bright red lipstick! Funnily enough, it smells really nice! I wore this lipstick a lot in the summer but it also perfect for winter, it's just an all year round lipstick really.

This next lipstick was my first ever purple lipstick! It's the Collection Little Mix lipstick in Perrie. It is the perfect first purple you could ever get, not only is it nice to look at, it's actually quite cheap! It's not insanely vibrant but it's actually quite subtle unless you layer it up and use a bright lip liner.7

Finally, I have the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 107. I got this lipstick back in early 2013 as it was featured in one of Zoellas videos and I absolutely love it! I've had it nearly 2 years now (oops!) so I'm starting to run low as I use to wear it all of the time.

So they are my favourite lipsticks, what are yours? Wow Evie, it's not like anyone is going to reply to your questions.

January Favourites

Monday, February 02, 2015

Welcome to my first favourites post! I was unable to get all of the products in one picture, the quality and background high so the pictures had to be take separately, boo. I was also unable to put the single pictures on here and have them line up nicely and nest to each other so a collage it was!

My first favourite is quite new but I have been using it a hell of a lot in the past few days due to the dance show I have been a part of. It's by MUA and is called Undress Me Too. It is a sequel to the palette Undressed, which I also have. Both palettes are filled with neutral colours, some shimmer and some matte colours. I use the dark colours in the outer corner of my eyelid of as eyeliner which gives it a smokey look. Also, it was only £4!

My next favourite is set of face washes and a moisturiser from Elemis. Before I got this I had never used any Elemis products before even though my mum loves it. They are little travel sized products but I have just used them at home. It also comes with a face mask but I have already used that, it was great! The moisturiser is my favourite thing in the set because  it does as it says, is matifying! Which I love because I have super oily skin which is the worst. I use the exfoliator weekly but the normal face wash twice daily.

This next one of my favourite (obviously) things! It's the You & I perfume by One Direction. I did get their perfumes because it was them but if the perfume wasn't by them I honestly would still buy it because all of their fragrances smell so nice! If you like sweet perfumes I would definitely recommend this one!

My last favourite is something which I have worn every single day since I got it, that is if I've actually left the house. It's the Topshop MOTO denim jacket. It's one of the lighter jackets which I definitely prefer to the darker denim ones which a few people in my school have.

What are your January favourites?
